Old Pictures of Dorset

Dorset in South West England with its temperate climate has long been a popular destination for tourists. The ancient Dorset coastline is known as the Jurassic coast, and much of it has been designated a World Heritage Site.There is a long list of sandy beaches many with stunning views - Sandbanks Beach is well known for its exclusive homes and high property prices.
Dorset can offer something for the whole family. One town I would put on the long list of places to visit while in Dorset is Swanage, a local attraction is The Great Globe at nearby Durlston Country Park.
