Old Pictures of Cornwall

Cornwall has more than its fair share of Britain’s heritage and beauty.  It’s little wonder that that this beautiful part of Britain with its mild climate and wonderful scenery is popular with holiday makers.
There are picturesque villages with thatched cottages and established holiday resorts like Perranporth with vast sandy beaches.
The remains of Engine houses with their distinctive shape stand proudly in the Cornish countryside, silhouetted against the evening sky, reminders of Cornwall’s industrial past when mining was an important part of Cornish life.

Cornwall is a great place to get away from it all, a perfect holiday destination for the family summer holiday or a short break to unwind and relax.
This is one of those times when a picture is worth a thousand words.
